a lesson plan that has kids performing poetry. i liked the way we did that in shakespeare and i thought it was something that i think would be useful in a classroom. it could be something that will help students to get a better grasp on poetry because in my experience, students are kind of scared of poetry.
I would definitely use love that dog in the classroom. i was thinking of even doing something like the book. having students keep a poetry journal. its something that after reading the book that students can see is doable and get excited about poetry.

Shakespeare
A website that i used for this section was... http://nfs.sparknotes.com/msnd/
it is a spark notes website for no fear shakespeare. i think this would be good in the classroom because 95% of the time i have a really hard time understanding shakespeare. so this is a book i can personally use before teaching shakespeare in a classroom.
I personally dont see myself teaching shakespeare in my classroom. i do not enjoy it, so i tried to find some activities online to save, because its not fair to students to miss out on something just because i dont like it.
i found a bbc website with a lot of videos on it, shakespeare in 60 seconds.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/drama/shakespeare/60secondshakespeare/watch/index.shtml
cool videos, easy to show in a classroom. can be understood by kids.
cool website with paper cutout to use to rebuild the globe theater
